This part of the manual is for users who have been invited by their organization. You activate your account, secure it and connect your own Power BI account. Then you choose where you want to chat: in the portal, in Claude or in Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Connecting Claude or Copilot is only needed if you want to ask questions from those environments. If you chat through the portal, you’re done once Power BI is connected.

• Activate your account: Accept an invitation and activate your account.
• Secure your account: Set up MFA and passkeys to secure your account.
• Connect Power BI: Connect your Power BI account with Power BI Agent.
• Connect Claude: Connect Power BI Agent via the Claude Connector in Claude Desktop or Claude.ai.
• Connect Copilot: Connect Power BI Agent as a connector in Microsoft 365 Copilot.
