What is Power BI Agent?

Power BI Agent is a platform that lets you chat with your Power BI data using natural language. Ask questions via Claude or Microsoft 365 Copilot — just like you would to a colleague — and get clear answers with advanced insights. We recommend Claude for the best results.

What can you do with it?

• Ask questions in natural language — No need for DAX formulas or technical queries. Just type your question in plain language.
• Get automatic analyses — Receive calculated ratios, KPIs, and trends without having to set them up yourself.
• Based on established standards — Analyses are aligned with recognized standards like RGS, so results are reliable and consistent.
• Use via Claude or Microsoft 365 Copilot — Query your data right from your preferred tool.

Get started as an owner

As an owner, you set up the organization so you and your team can get started:

1. Register and create an organization
2. Connect your Power BI account
3. Add datasets, assign users and skills
4. Connect Claude or Copilot
5. Ask questions about your data
